Newsletter week 11 - Oslo

Hello everyone and welcome to this week's newsletter. Reaching the midpoint of March and heading towards springtime, we hope this newsletter finds you well!

Last weekend we saw some nice weather, just in time for all the festivities going down in Holmenkollen! It does not look like this weekend will strike a similar note though, as there’s quite a lot of rain forecasted for tomorrow. However, Sunday looks very good, which makes it an excellent opportunity for an early spring hike outdoors! You can check out some suggestions for this in the piece on the Norwegian Trekking Association, found in the events section below. This week's feature of Word of the Week will highlight a significant Norwegian industry, as the Norwegian Seafood Festival kicks off (in Trondheim) today. Our weekly feature of This Week in Norway will give you more info on Norway’s largest ski race and how it’s connected with an important part of Norwegian history, at the end of the newsletter.

Again, thank you to everyone who has taken the time to complete our survey. We have now arranged a lottery for the cinema tickets, so check your email later today to see if you are one of the lucky winners!

Much like our recent newsletters, this one will feature information on various events and offers in Oslo. It will then continue with the Word of the Week and close with our feature This Week in Norway. Wish you all a “god helg”!
