17th May! With Onboard Norway

Join us to celebrate Norway's biggest day 17th May! We begin with coffee, cake and drinks from 11am, and then watch the parade through the centre at 1pm. We will then join back together at 3pm to enjoy lunch.

For lunch please bring a main dish with you to share. This can be from your home country, (If you don't feel like cooking you can always buy some food to bring along). Desserts are also welcome in addition to a main dish.

Remember that Norwegians traditionally dress very nicely on 17th May, wearing either traditional costume or a nice suit on this day. While it isn't essential that you dress up, it is a nice way to show respect for the day. Even a nice button shirt is enough .
