Visit to Rosenborg Ungdomsskole

Are you curious about the Norwegian school system? 

We are arranging a trip to a typical Norwegian ‘ungdomsskole’ to learn more about the Norwegian school system, pedagogy and culture of learning!

Rosenborg Ungdomsskole is a higher primary school for pupils in what we call 8th - 10th grade in Norway. This means youth aged 13 - 16 years old. The school also specializes in receiving non-Norwegian pupils, who do not speak Norwegian upon arrival, and integrating them into the Norwegian school system.

We will be joined by their head of education who will talk about the Norwegian school system, culture of learning and how they work with integrating non-Norwegian pupils.

Primary school is mandatory in Norway, so this is a great opportunity to learn more about a significant part of the formative years of practically all Norwegians youth.
