Time & Location
24 Mar 2019, 11:00 – 15:00
Skistua, Trondheim Municipality, Norway
About The Event
We are arranging another ski day Sunday 24th March (weather permitting). This is a day for everyone to try cross-country skiing. Even if you have never skied before this is a great time to try! We will start with introducing you to the basics. That means starting on a flat ground, learning how to control the skies. Then we take it from there. The most important part is to have fun.
Families and children are also very welcome.
We will cook sausages on an outdoor grill when we get tired of skiing, bring something warm to drink if you would like to have it afterwards. Remember to wear warm and water proof clothes. Remember to bring sunglasses and sunscreen with you this time as there is a high risk for sunburn from the sun and the snow.
For those who do not have their own ski's it is possible to rent them at Skistua from Trondheim Ski Club between 11am-12pm on Sunday's. We will be there to meet those who need to rent ski's and to show them where to go.
Prices can be found here: https://skiklubben.no/skiutleie-2/
How to get there:
Take the bus number 10 from city centre, it begins from Kongens Gate K1. The bus timetable is here:
For those renting ski's, we recommend taking the bus that leaves Kongens Gate K1 at 10:50.
For those who don't need to rent ski's we recommend to take the 11:20 bus.
We want to meet at Skistua no later than 12:00. For those wishing to rent ski's, this is only possible between 11am-12pm, so be sure to get there early. The last bus from Skistua is 16:15 so we will be finished in plenty of time before this.
Please note: As with all skiing in Norway, this day depends on the weather. We will not go if conditions are too wet or icy, we want this to be an enjoyable day for all! We will notify everyone in advance depending on conditions.
